Regular house cleaning is a different job from an end of lease clean. It is about keeping a home comfortable week after week, rather than preparing a property for handover. On our site this is the service called NDIS House Cleaning, which is also available to anyone in Melbourne on the same flat rates. This page explains how it works.
What regular house cleaning is
A consistent cleaner comes to your home on a schedule that suits you, works through an agreed checklist and keeps your living spaces safe and hygienic. It is our most requested service. It starts from $49/hr, and we ask you to call for a price for your home.
A consistent cleaner
We roster the same cleaner to your home wherever possible, so you are not explaining your routine to a stranger each visit. Consistency matters, because the person who knows your home can work through it more quickly and notice when something changes.
How often
You can choose weekly, fortnightly or monthly, locked in at the same day and time. Our Weekly and Fortnightly Cleaning service starts from $49/hr. You can pause or reschedule any time with no fees, and we send a reminder message before every visit.
What a visit includes
- Kitchen benches, sink, stovetop and splashback
- Bathroom and toilet sanitised top to bottom
- Vacuum and mop all floors
- Dusting of surfaces, sills and skirting
- Bins emptied and liners replaced
- Bed linen changed on request
We work through an agreed room-by-room checklist, so you know what to expect every time.
Written service notes
If your situation calls for a record, we can provide written service notes. This is useful if a plan manager, support coordinator or family member needs to see what has been done.
Who it suits
Our regular cleaning suits people who want reliable help at home. Many of our clients are NDIS participants, older people and families. It is also available to anyone in Melbourne who is not on the NDIS: no plan, no problem, at the same flat rates.
How pricing works
House cleaning starts from $49/hr. The final price depends on the home and the agreed checklist, so call for a price. We invoice you directly, or we send the invoice straight to your plan manager if you are plan-managed. There are no lock-in contracts.
Choosing a schedule
Think about how your household uses the home. A busy household may suit a weekly visit, while a smaller home may be fine fortnightly or monthly. A good starting point is to begin with a frequency you are comfortable with and adjust after a few visits, since you can pause or reschedule any time.
Deeper or one-off jobs
Sometimes a home needs more than a regular visit. Our Deep Cleaning service starts from $320 and resets the whole home in one visit, including a detailed bathroom descale, inside the oven, range hood filter and microwave, inside the fridge, freezer and cupboards, and wall spot cleaning. Carpet steam cleaning from $35/room and window cleaning from $8/window can be added, and bundles are quoted as one job.
Safe and insured
Every cleaner holds a current National Police Check and Working With Children Checks are held by all staff. We carry $20 million public liability insurance, and our cleaners are trained in respectful in-home support.
Where we work
We service all 386 Melbourne metro suburbs from our Bundoora base. We are open Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm, Saturday 8am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 4pm.
What a first visit looks like
Before regular visits begin, we agree a room-by-room checklist with you so both sides know what is included. The first visit gives your cleaner the chance to learn the layout of your home and your routine. From there, the same cleaner comes at the same day and time, which keeps the arrangement predictable.
Reminders and changes
We send a reminder message before every visit. If something changes, you can pause or reschedule any time, with no fees. That flexibility is deliberate: a regular clean should fit around your life, not the other way round.
Making the most of each visit
A few habits help any regular clean work well. Clear surfaces of loose items so they can be dusted, leave bins accessible, and tell your cleaner about anything you want added or changed. If a job needs more time than usual, mention it ahead so the booking allows for it.
How it compares to a deep clean
A regular clean maintains a home that is already in reasonable order. A deep clean, from $320, resets a home that has fallen behind. Many people start with a deep clean and then move to weekly or fortnightly visits from $49/hr. We quote the two together if you ask.
