Sometimes a home needs more than a regular tidy. Cleaning may have fallen behind because of a health episode, a hospital stay, a busy stretch or a change in capacity, and the task has grown too large to tackle a little at a time. This page is about resetting a home in one visit, then keeping it that way.
When a home needs a reset
Life happens. If cleaning has fallen behind because of a health episode, a hospital stay or a change in your capacity, a deep clean resets the whole home in one visit so regular cleaning becomes manageable again. Our site says it plainly: no judgement, ever.
What our deep clean covers
Our Deep Cleaning service starts from $320 and includes:
- Detailed bathroom descale: grout, glass, tiles and tapware
- Inside oven, range hood filter and microwave
- Inside fridge, freezer and cupboards
- Wall spot cleaning and switch plates
- Skirting boards, door frames and light fittings
- Rubbish and clutter removal by arrangement
Call for a price, because the right figure depends on the home.
Adding carpets and windows
A reset often includes the carpets and the glass. Carpet steam cleaning uses truck-mounted hot water extraction and starts from $35/room, with spot and stain treatment included. Pet odour treatment is available, and rugs and lounge suites can be done by arrangement. Window cleaning starts from $8/window and covers interior and exterior glass, frames, sills, tracks and flyscreens. Bundles are quoted as one job, so you get a single price.
Keeping it clean afterwards
A deep clean is a starting point. To keep the home comfortable, many people follow it with regular visits. Our Weekly and Fortnightly Cleaning starts from $49/hr, with a consistent cleaner at the same day and time. You can pause or reschedule any time with no fees.
How to prepare
You do not need to tidy before we arrive. Where clutter removal is needed, we arrange it with you first. Tell us when you call what the home needs most, so the quote matches the job. It helps to mention the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and whether you want carpets or windows included.
A way to think about priorities
If the list feels large, start with the rooms that affect daily comfort: the kitchen and bathroom. A deep clean covers those first, then works through the rest of the home. Regular visits afterwards stop the work piling up again.
NDIS and private pay
Cleaning is generally funded under Core Supports, Assistance with Daily Life, where the need relates to your disability. If that applies, your plan wording decides what can be claimed, and we are happy to talk through it over the phone. If you are not on the NDIS, no plan, no problem: our cleaning is available to anyone in Melbourne at the same flat rates.
Working with your plan manager
If you are plan-managed, we send the invoice straight to your plan manager, so you never handle the payment or paperwork. If you are self-managed, we invoice you directly. If you are NDIA-managed, give us a call and we will talk you through your options.
Trust and safety
Every cleaner holds a current National Police Check, all staff hold Working With Children Checks, and we carry $20 million public liability insurance. Our cleaners are trained in respectful in-home disability support.
Where and when
We service all 386 Melbourne metro suburbs from our Bundoora base. Bookings are usually within two to four business days. We are open Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm, Saturday 8am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 4pm.
What the first conversation covers
When you call, we talk through what the home needs most, how many bedrooms and bathrooms it has, and whether you want carpets, windows or clutter removal included. Most quotes take under five minutes, and we confirm the scope and give you a firm price before booking a time, usually within two to four business days.
Clutter and sensitive situations
If a home has built up because of a health episode or a change in circumstances, you do not need to apologise or tidy first. Our site says no judgement, ever, and rubbish and clutter removal is available by arrangement. We agree what will happen before the day so nothing is a surprise.
What you will notice afterwards
A reset changes how a home feels to live in. Kitchens and bathrooms are the most noticeable: a descaled bathroom, a clean oven and a tidy fridge make daily routines easier. Skirting boards, door frames and light fittings get the same attention, so the whole home feels consistent rather than partly done.
Planning the follow-up
After a deep clean, decide how often you want regular help. Weekly and fortnightly cleaning starts from $49/hr, with the same cleaner at the same time each visit, and you can pause or reschedule any time with no fees.
